3D application at the Museum of Human Evolution

Situation & challenge

The museum continues to update its content and is incorporating new devices and activities for visitors.

Solution

Virtualware, together with Empty has developed an interactive application to investigate an archeological site. It is a mechanized system made up of a table of six magnifying glass stations that enable visitors to explore the sediment in order to discover remains of tools and animals that will help them to interpret the origin of human evolution.

Results

Visitors collect information and are able to visually and interactively learn and acquire knowledge about the buried secrets of the Pleistocene and Holocene epochs.
