Virtualware attends Hannover Messe

Virtualware will be attending the Hannover Messe for the first time with the Basque Government and SPRI Group. Together with over 25 other Basque companies, Virtualware will be representing the Basque Industry 4.0 initiative - showcasing the latest developments in this sector.

This historic meeting has been held in Germany for over 60 years and is the main congress exploring the latest developments in the industrial sector. From the 24th to the 28th of April, eight separate exhibitions will be taking place at the same time demonstrating the state of the art in industrial automatization of construction, manufacturing, novel technologies, services and software.

Basque industry 4.0 Will be situated in hall 8 among various companies, clusters, technology centres and universities. We will be on site to share our expertise acquired in the Industry 4.0 sector whilst operating out of the Basque country. Virtualware will be contributing a series of demonstrations and talks.

Virtual and Augmented reality technologies are becoming increasingly available due to advances in the hardware market. Virtualware has been on the forefront of the implementation of these technologies within the Industrial sector. We have experience designing systems that aim to optimize data visualisation, digital processes, serious training simulations and safety monitoring solutions.

One such example of our work in this field, is our work with automotive company Fuchosa. Virtualware developed a HTC Vive based solution that allows engineers to monitor plant efficiency and production metrics in real time in a novel virtual reality environment. Another example of our work that will be displayed at the Hanover Messe is our work with the company Izar Cutting Tools.

Virtualware will be presenting on the 26th of April at 10am on important design elements for gamified serious simulations.
