Educational game in Batiscafo Museum in Chile

2 Situation: 

The History Museum in Valaparaiso, Chile, completely refurbished the Batiscafo Room and were interested in creating an educational gaming app that would explain to visitors, especially the younger ones, which is the adaptation process of seabed species 

3 Solution: 

Virtualware designed and developed and full solution for the Museum including all the content, software and hardware. In this case our Atouch Interactive Table, with it 32 simultaneous touches which allows up to 6 people to simultaneously collaborate and interact, was the perfect fit. In the application, the users can choose to become a seabed specie. Users then participate in a 3D interactive trip to the depths of the ocean and navigate through different challenges to reach a common objective: become accustomed to their new environment. This serious game is a pioneer in the museum education space in Chile.

In the short time the installation has been up and running, it’s become a main attraction for visitors of all ages.
